Box Monkeys is a box lacrosse team from Lahti, Finland, known for its energetic playing style and strong team spirit. The team actively competes in both domestic and international tournaments, including the legendary Frank Menschner Cup in Radotin, Prague. Box Monkeys bring a relaxed yet determined attitude to the floor – the troop always fights until the end.

Box Monkeys is Finland’s second-strongest box lacrosse club, right after Turku Titans. The team secured silver in every season of the Finnish Box Lacrosse Championship, played between 2013 and 2017.

In addition, Box Monkeys’ parent club, Lahti Lacrosse Ry, organizes and hosts the annual Sixes lacrosse tournament, the Legends Cup. Box Monkeys’ best result at the event is a 2nd place finish.

Box Monkeys’ roots are in field lacrosse. In 2008, a field lacrosse team called Lahti Predators was founded in Lahti. Lahti Predators has won three Finnish Championship bronze medals in men’s field lacrosse:
